‘Celestial Shadows’: A celebration of Lunar and Solar Eclipses by Scott Johnson
The upcoming April 8th total eclipse is the perfect time to consider astrophotography.
Scott Johnson, the creator of ‘Celestial Shadows’ says “I offer my images for sale as limited edition fine art presented on metal. When not photographing from my own observatory in Monroe County, I image remotely from other locations.
The images hanging in this show are Chromaluxe Metal Prints. These represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof and can be easily cleaned.
