October 5th: Human

These works subtly anthropomorphize animals, placing them in vulnerable, human-like positions, to encourage a connection between viewer and subjects. Through suspending the animal in moments of tension, the artist encourages feelings of discomfort, empathy, aggression, or fear within the viewer, inviting them to question the level of understanding possessed by animals as well as their potential role in our lives. September 7th: Birds and Animals

Since he retired to Bloomington 16 years ago, Ed McEndarfer has concentrated on combining lifelike forms of birds and animals with elegant stoneware vases. February 2nd: Illuminated Stone: Relief Stone Carvings by Sidney Bolam

A relief stone-carver based in Brown County, Indiana, Sidney Bolam began her career as a painter and an illustrator.
